CIVIC LEAGUE MEETINGS MOVE TO TUESDAYS
Beginning with the August 5th 2008 meeting,
the Civic League will meet on the first Tuesday of
February, April, June, August, October, and December.

NEXT MEETING HIGHLIGHTS

Meet and greet your neighbors for refreshments and camaraderie at the next civic league meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 5th.  A representative from HRT (Hampton Roads Transit) is on the agenda to discuss the Virginia Beach Transit Extension Study.  Come learn about the options the study is analyzing: light rail, bus rapid transit, enhanced bus service, and a no build scenario.  YOUR taxpayer money will pay for the results; here's an easy opportunity to learn, ask questions, and have your voice heard.
